Festive Fun: A North Wales & Cheshire Wargaming Christmas Party in Support of Mind
The festive season is a time for community, cheer, and giving back, and this year, the tabletop wargaming community of North Wales and Cheshire is coming together in a spectacular way. We are thrilled to announce that the entire alliance—Wrexhammer, Deva Warcom, Deva Victrix, Noddfa Games Club, Acme Games, and Hot Dice Games—is uniting to host a joint Christmas Party in support of the incredible charity, Mind.
In our world of dice, miniatures, and grand narratives, we know that the hobby is more than just a game—it’s a vital social lifeline, a creative outlet, and a supportive community. It’s a place where we can disconnect from daily stresses and connect with friends. Recognising the importance of mental wellbeing, especially during the winter months, we have chosen to direct our collective festive spirit towards raising crucial funds for Mind, a charity dedicated to ensuring no one has to face a mental health problem alone.

Dig out your most garish, glittery, or geeky Christmas jumper! Whether it’s a Space Marine wearing a Santa hat or an Ork dressed as an elf, we want to see your festive spirit. Prizes and glory await the best-dressed.
🎟️ A Mega-Raffle with Incredible Prizes:
We’re holding a massive raffle with some truly epic prizes, generously sponsored by our fantastic supporters:
- £400 worth of sponsorship from STARFORGE!
- £200 worth of goodies from Hot Dice Games!
- Commissioned painting vouchers from Brotherhood commissions.
- Donated boxes from members piles of shame

But that’s not all! Our members are digging deep into their “piles of shame” and donating brand-new, unopened model boxes to add to the prize pool. This is your chance to win some amazing wargaming loot while supporting a vital cause.
How the Raffle Works: Your £10 ticket automatically includes £5 worth of raffle tickets, giving you a head start on winning those fantastic prizes. Additional raffle tickets will be available to purchase on the night.

It wouldn’t be a party without great company. We’ll have the venue booked, the festive music playing, and the bar open. This is the perfect opportunity to meet fellow hobbyists from across the region, share your painting projects, and celebrate the year gone by in true wargaming style.
